Save and Charge Saved Payment Methods

Save and Charge Saved Payment Methods

We recently released new functionality which helps operators in several different ways: saved payment methods. When activated and a customer makes a purchase using Stripe a customer is created within Stripe and the payment method is created and stored to that customer.

This allows a business to then utilize the saved payment method in the future for things like editing a transaction that results in an upcharge or paying an outstanding balance during check-in.

We are working to add additional uses for the saved payment method such as creating new reservations with the saved payment method on file. Enhancements to this functionality will be released some time in the future.
