May 2019 Release Notes

Another month down as May comes to a close and another month of big improvements and new functionality to help our tour and activity operators sell smarter, faster, and easier.

Some of the bigger features to point out: price overrides at the time slot level, custom email communications, support for Stripe Terminal, and the ability for a customer to utilize PayPal to pay an outstanding invoice. Account Updates

  • Prices can now accept overrides at the time slot level
  • Create/manage/translate category sub-title and short description fields
  • Businesses can now create custom emails to be sent out for given products
  • Ability to view outstanding invoices
  • Ability to place a booking directly from the product reservation management screen
  • Enhanced the display of transaction numbers on the transaction details page
  • Improved usability on tablet devices
  • Initial support for Stripe Terminal credit card readers
  • All businesses can now edit transactions
  • Fixes an issue around asset management where multiple assets are assigned to an activity
  • Fixed an issue where product titles with special characters was causing transaction search to fail
  • Fixed an issue where transactions not in English were receiving English confirmation emails when they were re-sent
  • Fixed an issue where adding many participants caused an error
  • Fixed an issue some users were experiencing when attempting to reset their password
  • General performance, resiliency, and security enhancements

Booking and Embedding Updates

  • Deposit pricing now includes both the deposit price and total price
  • Fixed style collisions for businesses that use WordPress
  • Invoices can now be paid with PayPal
  • Categories now display optional sub-titles and short descriptions the same as products
  • General accessibility improvements
  • Fixed issue where embedding checkout step sometimes didn’t allow customer to book if form was invalid
  • Fixed an issue with deep-linking into an unscheduled activity
  • Fixed an issue where the by-date view didn’t work if the initial week had no events
  • General performance, resiliency, and security enhancements

General Platform Updates

  • Fixes an issue with Smartwaiver waivers not associating with transactions in the system
  • Fixed an issue where Smartwaiver unpublished waivers were not working properly
