We have released a better, more automated, and simpler way to create and manage gift cards from within TRYTN. You can now create a gift certificate specific merchandise item that enables the TRYTN reservation system to automatically manage and maintain gift certificates for you.
Once enabled and at least one gift certificate product is created customers will be able to buy the gift certificate online. When they purchase the gift certificate they will receive a unique code in an email. The customer can then use that code in a future purchase.
As an operator we understand that gift certificates can be a liability. We’ve added a gift certificate report (when enabled) so that you can see the gift certificates in the system and remaining balances.
